Love your granny squared crocheted sweater! The touches of yellow are perfect!

I remember when people made all kinds of things from these granny squares but mostly afghans. Brings back some memories.

I was creative with crochet but never tried to make cuffs and they look great here. I'd think you'd get flooded with memories every time you wear it. Nicely done with the APP.

Ah, it's a story! The blocks used for the back were in my suitcase (not stolen) when my backpack was stolen in San Francisco - so I had the completed blocks, but not all the rest of the yarn and crochet hooks. So I made them into a baby blanket and was going to give it away, then decided I liked them, bought more (different, because I couldn't find all the same yarn), and researched designs and sleeve patterns, mostly on Instagram, because, you are right, it's totally a trend right now. I also researched how to do a crocheted rib. I learned a ton and turned a sad story into a happy ending You would find crochet very simple - there are only a few stitches Oh and then I dug up some really old granny squares, made more, and did make a blanket for that baby ;-)
