To be honest, this isn't what I had envisioned when I started ... it just happened. I was inspired by the colors and angles of the art piece. I enjoy seeing everyone's interpretation of the art piece. Creativity at it's best!

Process
The background was created by using solid papers from APP Tangier and APP Wish (top layer). A layer mask was added to the top layer and using the gradient tool, the two papers were blended together at an angle. The photo was changed to black and white, clipped to a fotoblendz clipping mask and rotated at an angle. The blending mode of the mask was changed to color burn. A paint layer from AT Christmas Nostaglia was placed behind the photo. An artsy paper from APP Wish was clipped to an artsy paint png file and placed behind the image. Brushes and artstrokes from APP Retro Holiday, AT Vitality, AT Chatter and AT Christmas Nostaglia were added. A Different Stroke brush was recolored blue, duplicated and flipped vertically. Parts of the brush were erased. A Urban Frame Transfers was layered below the image with the blending mode changed to soft light. Word art and an urban stitch was added to complete the page.
