Process notes:
I placed the AASPN_ArtPlayPaletteArrive_ArtsyPaper3 as my background paper. I placed my photo in the middle. I duplicated the photo, added the Scriptease fotoblendz mask (blending mode darken) and clipped the photo to it. I applied a photoshop filter (Dark strokes) to the photo. I duplicated the original photo once again and applied a filter from Postworkshop, added a layer mask and brushed away the parts I didn't want to show.

I placed the wordarts, urban stitchez and elements on my page and started playing with transfers and overlays. I added the retro fotoglow in the corner of my page, added a piece of tape, the yellow ticket and some yellow from an artsy retro glow kardz, to create a repetition of threes for visual interest. (see Miki's tutorial on Anna's blog http://annaaspnes.typepad.com/anna/2015/03/tutorial-repetition-in-threes.html).
Don't know if that quit worked out, but practice makes perfect ;o)

To finish off my page I placed two Postage Edge overlays on my layout and applied a different color to both of them.

Thanks for looking!
What an incredible photograph and I LOVE how you have scrapped it, fading out some parts and including lots of texture and subtle colours!

This photo is just amazing! Love the use of the postal stuff! wonderfully complex background!
