This is my non-white white space page. There are two dark papers blended together, the solid black over the floral stamped black one (Lighten). After I placed the photo, frame, and flowers, I added a layer mask to the floral black paper. Then I erased portions of the stamps. Some were completely erased, and in other sections, I used grungy brushes with differing opacities to soften the stamps. I really liked using the layer mask because if I erased too much of an area, it was easy enough to paint them back in.
Lots of drama using the black and white palette for this page. It has creative pizazz and shows off your technical skills while remaining a white space layout. this definitely is a work of art. Thanks for taking on the challenge.
Love what you did here. Brilliant use of black paper for the white space challenge. The understated title of “simply lovely” makes me smile because this sure doesn’t look simple!
