Panorama: My son's shot of one of Sol LeWitt's wall-drawing installations at the DIA:Beacon Museum of Modern Art.
Process:
In the Minimalist spirit of conceptual artist Sol LeWitt, I used few supplies to create my lift. I followed the lift pretty literally, breaking up the panorama into the canvas frames and then adding the background, which is a blend of a patterned paper from Bookish (on the bottom) and a dotted paper from Anew blended on soft light to deepen the color. I added the title, outlining it with a stroke, and then the word bar, which is a repeat of the instructions that the artist gave his technicians to create the wall drawings displayed at the museum. The red puzzle piece is a standard shape from the PSE custom shape set. Lastly, I added the photo of my son, framed it, and wrote the Who/What/Where/When ID text on the bottom.
