I was lucky enough to stay with friends who took me for a hike along the beautiful Moselle River here by Piesport. It's all vineyards. Grapes have been grown in the hills around for 2000 years. There's an ancient wine press dated 4th century preserved in Piesport which the Romans would have used it to crushed grapes by foot.
