AnnaLift 3-26 Butterfly Maiden
I had intended to use these stairway photos for this week's lift (these are the Green Street steps in San Francisco on Russian Hill), then got completely carried away 
But I did:
-use multiple frames
-include some WordART or a title
-add some brushwork, and texture
-include some text or journaling
-add some splashes of color

Journaling left: We were hiking back from the lagoon volcano in Costa Rica and having this conversation about Laura & Yvonne. Hopefully they will soon be able to both legally stay in the US where they will be happier than in the suburbs of Oslo. I feel for them and the difficult life they have chosen. I told Megan I was glad she chose the path she did. Of course she thought I was talking about the hiking path we were on and was confused because, as she said, there really wasnt much of an option since the path was a loop. A comic moment, but still an important point. Life is hard enough without choosing hard paths.
Journaling right:
At our opening yoga session at the Costa Rica retreat we each blindly chose a goddess card. I got the Butterfly Maiden. I dont think anything could have been more appropriate, for this goddess is about transformation. All these transformations - Megans new job, Megan, Sam & Cher moving away, the water leak, the house repairs, the uncertainty of the future ...
I can handle it all, because ...
