this photo always makes me laugh. a Sunday drive in 1921 and what passed for a photo op then, "out in the country." my dear departed MIL is the little girl, "Suze." her mom and dad are on either side of her. some day i'm going to drag my daughter, hubby and two strangers into a corn field to recreate this.

oh gosh...so much to say :) Great photo! Wonderful photo treatment. And yes, somehow it is funny although it probably was not intended to be. Your title work is also quirky and funny...makes me think of 'turkey in the straw'. Great work as usual Phylis! Oh and I would love to see a modern rendition :)

This is such a great treatment of that wonderful photo!! A new rendition would be so much fun! We just watched "The Dust Bowl" and I thought of what they would go through in just a few years.
