AnnaColor - My Furry Friend

Fifteen years ago, I opened my back door and in strutted a big male cat acting like he owned the place. Like he was "king" of the palace, err, house. Because I leaving town within the next hour for several days, I had to shoo him out. I thought he was just a stray, curious kitty who wandered in. But when I returned, he was sleeping on my window sill as if he was waiting for me to come home. Once again, he strutted in when I opened the door and declared my home his "castle." I checked with the neighborhood kids' network (they knew everything that happened and told everything) and no one claimed him. I like to think that he was sent to comfort me by my sister who had very recently and unexpectedly died. I was the only person he ever liked. I was fortunate to have a loving furry friend during that difficult time and for many years after. Photo of Baxter that I Waterlogued. Oh, I'm beginning to think I need a support group for Waterlogue addicts.

I don't know what waterlogue is??? but love your artsy photo... Will have to google that term and see what comes up... Loved your story... pretty amazing that he waited for you to return, sincehe did not even know you yet!!!

Cats are amazing creatures. I had one disappear for 7 whole months. Looked all over and in the end thought she must be dead. Decided to get a kitten to replace her. Well. The very same day I brought my new kitten home guess who turned up at the door. The very SAME day! After 7 months!!! She'd been injured or sick and lying low I could tell. Just walked in as though nothing had happened and she'd gone for a walk. And so I ended up with 2 puddy tats LOL

Love your page. Really love the waterlogue effect. He's very handsome. Glad you took him on!

What a wonderful story and layout! (I had a dog come into my life when my mom passed away and it was just what I was looking for; they are very comforting!) I, too, love Waterlogue:)

That app is addictive, but the photo of Baxter looks great, great way to divide the page space!

cats have a way of picking the right person to adopt.
