Between the rain, a busy weekend and other things going on this week, its been a while since weve had to walk up the steps from the 7th hole. The last time we were here, I saw the daffodil shoots, but with the rain and warmth, in less than a week they have sprouted into yellow glory! There isnt much that can bring an instant smile to my face and warmth to my heart than a daffodil, especially naturalized among the other living things and ascending up the stairs like little pied pipers, luring us upward. I hope to plant some daffodils in the front yard this fall, and hope I have clumps like these in our yard next year.
