It was love at first sight, in the late 1950s I opened my first 64-pack of Crayola crayons and there it wasPeriwinkle. Yes, the new box boasted metallics and a built-in sharpener, but it was that Periwinkle crayon that caught my attention. Not just any blue would suffice, I developed a passion for that blue blended with purple-ish lavender! A half a century later, it's still my favorite color and will be 'til the end of time! (ok, I'm being a drama queen, but it's trueI adore the color 'P'I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to this lovely hue.)
