The Process
I began with an artsy paper from AP Explore for the background. For the sunflower bud I added a layer mask and erased (hid) the background leaves. I duplicated the photo, creaated a color halftone (small dots) (filter > pixelate > color halftone) and changed the blending mode to hard light. I created a custom shadow behind the sunflower. I added two other photos of sunflowers, added an inverted layer mask to each and began brushing back (revealing) the flowers with a soft brush. I added a frame from AP Canyon between the sunflower bud and back flowers, changed the blending mode to hard light. A tranfers from AP Canyon was added (color changed) and then duplicated and moved slightly above the first one. A transfer from AP Explore was added on the bottom left corner. A MultiMedia Flower, button, wood word, script tease, charm, butterfly, an edge overlay and straw were added to complete the page.
