I've used this design before, but it works really well for this week's Anna Lift.

Process
A solid paper from APP Metro Graffiti was used as the base of the page. A solid paper from APP Abrazo was layered over it with the blending mode changed to color burn and a reduced opacity. This warmed up the color. A large horizontal rectangle (colored blue with the blending mode changed to color burn) was layered across the center of the page. The photo of the race car was clipped to the rectangle. A transfer from APP Metro Graffiti was over the rectangle with the blending mode changed to color burn. A triangle (colored a teal blue with the blending mode changed to multiply was layered under the rectangle. A circle was drawn, filled and the blending mode changed to color burn. The image was clipped to circle. Outlines around the triangle and half circle were added (using the stroke tool). Using a soft brush with a reduced opacity, portions of the geometric shapes were blended in. Brushes were added for more texture. Embellishments and word art finished off the page.
