The Process
I used two different photos, one of the NYC skyline and one of a country farm tree line (rotated so that it is upside down0. I increased the contrast of both photos to make the skyline more white and used the Darken blending mode to eliminate the top edges of the photos. Next I clipped a paper from AP Storm to each photo and changed the blending mode to Hard Light. I added glows behind each of the photos and stitching between the photos. Word art, elements, and skinny lined overlays were added last.
