Today is our 47th wedding anniversary, and I was struck, as I am every year, by how different today has been compared to May 18, 1969! But I wouldn't go back, except to retrieve my strong, pain-free, slender body, and my wrinkle-free firm-skinned face! Our son gave us a gift card to "Purple," a popular restaurant among the young professional crowd. As we were sitting over our Kobe beef dip sandwiches, I looked around and commented to Captain Romance: "We are so not cool!" We agreed it was okay to not be cool.
