Inspiration – I guess because I am using some of my old photos for my current photo book it seem natural to reach for one of these photos to scrab.


Start – File>New 12x12 300


Paper – I placed Solid Paper 4 (the wrinkles reminded me of beach sand) over the background.
Mask – Used 4 X 3 ArtzyKard 2 . I created a new layer above some layers and painted it back where I wanted the picture to be placed. Then I attached the photo to the layer using Layer>Create Clipping Mask.
Photos – I brightened my photo bef
Transfer –Artsy Transfer 4 was placed in the upper right-hand corner.
Frame – Learned how to make my frames with The Shapes, Styles, and Repetition class.
Elements – Placed the MM Trees 5 over my photo at an angle.
Brush – took brush 5, which I duplicated and then placed under the title.
Title – Typed in Beach Time, rasterized the type then added a stroke and drop shadow.
