Project 2022 - December 2
This page features two extractions - done in seconds on my iPhone (with ios 16) and they're pretty darn good! Since I didn't need to blend them, I used another photo clipped to a FotoBlendz for a background, then added the Extraction on top, creating a Custom Shadow.
The rest of the page is simply clipping photos to Frames/Masks and adding Transfers and Elements to balanve everything.
Lots of journaling on this page since there are lots of "connections" depicted, something we've been talking about in Project 2022.

What an amazing layout! Your photos are amazing and so are the elements and blending you used. However, it is the journaling that really touched my heart! Congratulations for your layout being selected for Standing O

Thank you so much! Yes, I am trying to journal more, about the stories, the connections with the past, the feeling surrounding taking care of this wonderful little boy :)

Count me in on the journaling fan club. It's an art to draw those dotted lines among things--helps make sense of the Circle Game, doesn't it? Past, present, and future all really do connect. Emotional reading for me, and of course beautiful visuals, especially what you did with the Christmas cactus.

Oh my goodness! This is amazing! I was just coming to give you a Standing O for this one. The double page layout is beautiful. Your grandson is so very cute. But the journaling...that just squeezes at my heart! I love it! I need to try to do more of that!

Adorable photos and great extractions. Just learned that I do a quick extraction with my iphone! This album is going to be a special treasure.

That Christmas cactus must be very hearty, as my daughter is not the best with plants. I do try to watch out for things, and I know I gave it a soap wash in the summer as I saw bugs on it. But this has to be the 4th or 5th year of profuse blooming, despite a certain amount of neglect :)

Thanks so much! It is Project 2022 that has given me the nudge to journal more. Glad you could read it - my eyes can't see it ;-)
