Month Review templates don't have to be for a whole month. Here I've used them for a day :) .
I like having a clear date on pages, plus lots of frames.
This is Page 1 (I changed the calendar to start on Sunday - anal thing). Moved one set of frames then duplicated one set of frames.
For the reflection photo on the right, I used a mask and brushes to blend it a little, then added Transfers and textures to improve the blending while keeping most of the photo. Then I added a copy over this, in Overlay Mode, to brighten it. Finally, I added a 3rd copy underneath, reverse masked it, then brushed in the tree trunk to extend off the page.
Loving the big photo on the right--and your journaling. I am a "date person" too and always slap dates somewhere on the page--I think because my memory can be, shall we say, not accurate. You are such a fabulous grandma, not only living the experience in the moment but documenting it from future enjoyment.

The reflection on the left is fabulous and I love the blended photo on the right. Hoping they are home now and your plans are moving forward.

Love that puddle photo. Had to LOL at your comment about changing the calendar, then smile at all the fun photos. I really like the solid yellows behind some photos.

Thank you!! I didn't get to spend a lot of time with my baby girl, so I am putting 110% into the nana role!!

Thanks - and oh yes forgot to mention, I just color the mask in the behind frames, using Ozzy's raincoat as the color :)

With the perspective of a child's mind I can see everything as a learning opportunity - rather than worry about him being soaking wet in a cold puddle, let's talk about bubbles and reflections :) Everyone is currently in Portland and yup, moving forward, quickly!

That's how we were. You can always dry off and get warm, so enjoy those puddles, bubbles, and reflections :)

The reflection photo is wonderful and I love the calendar. And that yellow and how it flows across the pages and it works well as the backup color behind photos. Lots of fun that day!
