Inspiration – On a recent ride with a friend I found some interesting art objects. I had to make a page with at least one.
Start – File>New 12x12 300
Paper – Placed Solid Paper 1 above the background layer
Frame – almost never use frames except the ones from templates. So, I had to use an Urbanthreadz Frame and my rooster deserved to be framed.
Photo - I placed the photo in the frame attaching to the mask layer using Layer>Create Clipping Mask.
Transfers – Placed the Artsy Transfers 3 and 4 under and around the frame. Transfer1 was also placed around the frame but added a mask to help mask away some that didn’t fit.
Title Cluster – Started with a word transfer, added red leaf and seed pod. Next the
added the word art “All is calm”: for a title.
Brush – I used brushes 1 and 2 to give interest to the page.
I did a little finishing up by adding drop shadows where appropriate and adjusting others.
