The Process
Solid papers from AP et Voila and AP Old World were brought into a 12x12 page. The top layer (AP Old World) was changed to darken to allow the texture to show through. Transfers from AP Explore and AP Break Away were layered on the page. The balloon was extracted and duplicated (blending mode changed to hard light). Transfers from AP Scientist and AP Storm were clipped to the top layer (blending mode changed to color burn). These layers were merged and the image was duplicated (blending mode hard light with a reduced opacity). A word transfer was clipped to the balloon and the butterfly was added with the blending mode changed to luminosity. Using the balloon from Beach Bum as a brush (tutorial coming July 16) a template was made and spay paint was added. The paper word and compass was also spray painted with multiple colors. Warm glows, stars, buttons, label words arrows, brushes and strokes were added to complete the page.
