ADSR 10 - Good Enough
This is my entry for Challenge 10. 
Journaling:
My greatest desire, my greatest wish, is just to feel good enough. All my life I have dealt with this. I have never, ever felt good enough. From how I did in school, to how I looked, to how I dressed, to whom I was friends with and how many friends I had. Once I became a mother it got so much worse. Now, on a daily basis, I worry that I am not a good enough mother. When we had Ella and I went back to work, I felt awful that she was in daycare. Now that Im home with all 3 kids, I feel bad that she is home with just me, and she is bored to tears. Every time she throws a fit or gets cranky or disobeys, I feel like it is my fault for not being a good enough mother. Im not a good enough wife, good enough friend, good enough daughter, good enough sister. Not a good enough scrapper or cook or housekeeper. And, I am sick
of it! Im sick of feeling like this. Im sick of feeling inadequate when other people talk about how perfect their kids are, how great their life is, how
wonderful their job is. My goal is to feel content. To feel happy with who I am and what I do. To be good enough. I am not asking to be perfect. I am not asking to be skinny or rich or beautiful or the #1 mom. I just want to be good enough for me and for my family. That is my desire. How do I get there? Stop thinking about what other people are thinking. Realize that I am good enough. That my kids are happy, my husband loves me for who I am.
