saw an acorn woodpecker in Big Bend last year, they are really a pretty bird but I feel that way about most birds LOL, love the leaves and framing! beautiful!

Love the placement of the stichez and "earthy" colors you used. Beautiful! We have a pileated woodpecker that's drilling holes in the house. Not too happy with him.

We hiked out to an acorn granary in Elkhorn Slough in CA and it was mesmerizing seeing these guys march up and down the trees. This spread brings back awesome memories. Beautiful design as always (nice new photo of you, too)!
