'Gifts'
Journaling: Gifts. On this night Richard and I shared photos. Its an interest we have always shared though he is collects facts while I tell stories. I had never seen this photo of him and Mai , taken during Christmas 1967, when they began dating. What I love about this photo so much, aside from the fact that Richard is wearing a Santa outfit - Who knew he had it in him?
It is where this all started. Our family wouldnt quite look the same today without this story. Then almost 50 years later, hes sitting on our home playing the Santa role again, minus costume sadly, but what about the crazy power of photos and stories?
