'Christmas Eve'
Journaling: Christmas Eve. It was a quiet, relaxing day by all accounts. With no-one joining us for dinner we were on our own schedule. The boys made the most of the almost 60F temps by pulling down the play park to make room for planters in the summer. Ella decorated cookies and I tried my hand at some gluten free mince pies. We enjoyed our traditional prime rib dinner in the evening complete with crackers, hats and jokes, then broke out our Christmas attire for an Ugly Sweater party next door.
Christmas Eve dancing has also become somewhat of a tradition around here. Theres always a little bit of twerking happening and a slow dance for Mom. Ella got one too this year. With High School just around the corner - Her Dad was happy to give her a few pointers when asked.
