The memory is a simple one of time spent together enjoying the world around us. This photo was taken by my DH when we had a small flock of waxwings feeding low.

I so love them genie! They hav ebeen around here ( iceland) this winter too
Are you sure the are cedar? non bohemian?

Thanks, Val! Don't I wish it were a Bohemian Waxwing. In Iceland they might be the usual ones, but here it would be a rarity.

Oh, what a beautiful bird. Wish we had those here - we're totally into birds right now, since it's our first spring/summer with a garden of our own.

So those are called waxwings! I've been wondering...I never know the names of birds, but I have seen these many times! This is one of those WOW pages for me! I love it!
