A Conversation

A pretty typical conversation with my oldest son, Adam. He's a great blend of brains, sports, and creativity. I took these photos last month while we were waiting for my other son to wrap up a few things in his classroom.

This and that from our conversation today

You called to see how I was feeling, concerned about my 2-day migraine.
You asked if I was up to talking, Your health comes first, Mom, you said.

Sports blog, Fansided, doing well [grown so much in 4 years
from hobby to a full-fledged business], Zach back in gear after surgery. [So proud of my boys!]

Going out with Hannah tonightenjoying her companyyou describe
her as fun, a deep thinker, well-adjusted, and beautiful with amazing style!
[Im liking the sound of hernot to mention shes a therapist, like your beloved mother!]

Finishing details of your film to meet the entry date for the Telluride Film Festival.

Bo said hes like Hemingway and youre like F. Scott Fitzgerald[no more Zelda(s) please!].
You mentioned the Fitzgerald quote: A great social success is a pretty girl who plays her cards
as carefully as if she were plain. [Interestingthink youre realizing the value of this type of woman.]

Wanted my input regarding which script to write nextalthough
I adore the one youre currently writing, I agree that its time will come [sigh]
finishing the one we discussed will be perfect for a summer project.

Live out of love, not fear [heard my words coming back to me gotta love that as a mom].

Youre reading a few classic writers you missed along the waycurrently,
James JoyceHe can turn a sentence....

We talked about the downside of reality tv and your concern that
Generations Y and Z wont have a passion for the arts.
I sent you a link about interactive public artdo you think this
medium will be effective?

Next time, well pick up where we left off.
Always a pleasure, dear one.
Loved eavesdropping on your conversation with your son! Love the photos..I remember those shoes, here they were called vanns..looks like they've made a comeback! Your journaling is wonderful!

I think this must be Reality Scrapping. ??? Almost feel like I shouldn't have been reading, but glad I did. Love the Vans...the typewriter...so much to study here.

So....real! What a special relationship you must have, and what a creative and special page you have created. This one will be treasured!

Love this- I am jealous of the amount of conversation- my sons are engineers and they proudly tell me that is because they do not have communication skills- Love your design too!

Oooh, wow, that's beautiful captured. LOVE the artsy pictures and your real conversation.

He seems an amazing young man and I LOVE that he hates reality TV - me too! Great example of a contemporary guy page!
