Julia is my daughter...
Julia is quite taken with the
Welch actor Michael Sheen. He was starring in a
British Movie, called Nye.
It was about how the British Health system called (NHS) came to be thanks to the hard work of Labour Politician
Aneurin (Nye) Bevan.
It turned out that what we had tickets to see was it’s worldwide
Premier showing .
It was a movie of a PLAY!!!
I found the very old theater it was shown in, to be quite charming
in its antiquity. The floors were very uneven and the restrooms were tiny rooms with walls at strange angles.
It was a fun evening, totally out of the norm for me.
The Tower Theatre, built in 1938, is a Sacramento, California landmark and the oldest remaining, continuously running picture palace. The theater was designed by California theater architect William B. David in the Streamline Moderne style of architecture.
