The words on the sign explain about the strange formations on the ground at the I 5 Yreka Rest stop. My family discovered them many years ago... I thought I would stop past and revisit, Tuesday evening on my way back home. I was disappointed that there are now fences up that prevent one from venturing out into the fields, but I found this one in the pet area...these circles have no explanation. The photo on the sign is an ariael view of the 600 acres they cover.. Each is exactly the same as the next, circumfernce, height and surrounding rocks... to this day no one has come up with a logical explanation that makes sense. Many theories have been thrown out and discarded.
