Worthy goals and lovely page. I'm not a resolution-maker either. When I used to be, I just beat myself up every time I failed. I love the cluster you made, the way you wrapped your text around the flare, and the stars (bokeh).
Sometimes you just need to step back reevaluate what you want to do and make those goals to achieve it. It looks like you are doing that in a very creative way.
