A few days ago I received a message from Bob G------- ... Someone I had met as an internet date years ago... we talked for a few days and agreed to meet in an outdoors venue, but with temps running up to 108 this week and other things in life getting in the way, it seemed we were not going to meet at all... Then out of the blue it all fell together... yesterday was a bit cooler... only in the 90s ...we agreed to meet down by the river... he would bring wine, crackers, fruit and cheese and I would bring folding chairs... I was very festive in my Fascinator , made for the Newcomers Tea earlier in the day! We did not quite know where we were going, but it turned out to be a perfect spot... the river quietly flowing... we were briefly visited by some goslings and then the parents... other than that we were alone with our conversation... it was a lovely evening!!!!
