2014 JW&A Christmas Party Pg 1
Journaling reads: The Josephson Werdowatz Christmas party for 2014 was held at The Grand Del Mar. Located along the open space at Penasquitos Canyon, in the Carmel Valley portion of Del Mar - a five star facility that includes the hotel, golf courses, residential condominiums, with all the opulence that you would expect.
Due to a poor economy over the past few years, the company has diminished in size. We are down to just 10 employees, so our holiday dinner celebration was intimate, and held in one of the many dining rooms of the hotel. We had the choice of Prime Tip, Lamb, Salmon, or a Vegetarian, and Vegan menu choice along with a full bar, and a variety of appetizers.

The Process: Annas Holiday templates made this double page spread so easy. I did modify one of the templates by reversing it, and I moved some of the photo frames a bit here and there, but other than that, I just attached the photos to the clipping masks, and modified the colors of some of the brushes on the templates. In additions, since I didnt use these templates as intended (for a daily December album), I swapped out the day alpha, and used the glitter alpha instead to create titles for both pages. Once the basic template was modified, I added the names of each person in the photos using the WordLabel Templates, and added a few extra elements here and there. I took the bookplate element from AP Artsy, and attached the Gold Paint Overlays to it. I added the brads from the LabelTemplates No. 1, and changed the brad color from black to red. On page one, I took the fotoglow, and placed it on top of the sunburst on the large blended photo, and I erased the very center of the glow. I then moved the sparkles to best accent the photo. I then finished the page up by adding a Gold Overlay to the background paper.
