As I continue my Dec daily album - today 12-12-12 really one of my favorite birds the Carolina Wren was at my feeder! I just love the way he looks at the camera - like enough LOL! But then this stray cat is sitting in the sun in my backyard. He runs when we try to approach - it is too cold for him to be outside!

I agree with Jeanthat head-on shot is greatso much character in that little face! Nancy, it's so cool how much you know about birds!

ps...I, too, have a stray cat I've been fretting aboutwe've had a few nights of 5 degree (F) weather and he continues to surface from under my deck in the mornings!

Another gorgeous page of bird photos!! I also worry about the animals that are outdoors!! Our temps can go to -40c below zero at times in the winter!!
