Our family has always opened gifts on Christmas Eve... Our Celebration always started at Grandma Kenas with a little buffet meal and the opening of their gifts. From there we used to go out to Myrna and Connies place. (Myrna was Rodgers (older , by 3 years) sister). At some point this tradition ended with a misunderstanding. The final stop was at Grandma and Grandpa Lambs house with more goodies to eat and their gifts to be opened. Aunt Jean of course joined us. Since it was quite late by the time we returned home, we saved our gifts for morning... Santas surprises were of course added to the morning opening after Julia arrived.
