Day after day you sat and shoved food away. You would just sit and stare at the table or into space. You insisted you wanted to take part in your cancer treatment but you actions spoke volumes. Sometimes you asked for drink after drink but refused to take them once they were made.

It was after your brothers visit when you said you would not eat for me as you did for him that I realized you had made a decision.
You chose.
Maureen - I am so sorry you and your family are going through such a difficult time. Wonderful documentation of this - my prayers are with you. {{hugs}}

What a difficult story to tell, Maureen, but you've done so beautifully on this page. What an all-around heartbreaking situation. I've been following your comments about this in the forums, and I commend and admire you for your strength in dealing with it all.

You've managed to convey the tragedy of the days you all suffered on your page. I continue to hold you and family in my prayers

you are very strong! an emotional page but beautifully done - hugs and prayers as you continue on

Oh Maureen, how difficult for you all, but perhaps the most difficult for the one who chose? I don't know, but my heart goes out to you.

There is a Dutch saying:
you can bring/take a donkey to the water/riverside/well/water spring,
you cann't force him to drink.

My prayers are with you, Maureen.

maureen-- I can only repeat what has been said already. but I adore the fact that you scrapped such a difficult page. So often we only scrap the good times, and this is a much more realistic view of life.
