Our excursion started as a bus ride through Hoonah to the muskeg - we had to stay on the boardwalk or it is possible to step into a sink hole. It was pretty cool to see just how deep those holes can be. We also saw bald eagles. The board walk takes you to viewing platforms over looking a river.
