Journaling:
I have been learning how to
respond to people who say outrageous
things. Instead of answering immediately, I say nothing,
but rather just silently
look them straight in the eye. It not
only gives me time to reflect
in case I do care to respond,
but it is usually all the response that is
required. most often they just act embarrassed,
turn away, or change the subject.
