Created this to play & practice some techniques learned in Anna's Interweaving Embellishment class.

PSE process: Began with a layered template. Clipped 2 photos to separate fotoblenz masks & placed over the artsy layers of template. Blended the photos together to make it look like 1 photo. Extracted & duplicated the totem pole & placed with a drop shadow. Title was created with technique from Anna's class to weave the thread through the words & boot laces. Added labels, extra bird brush & notions for embellishment. Lots of moving of layers, recolouring & playing.

This is wonderful and something I should also be doing and haven't started yet. Your photos are gorgeous, the background blending is stunning and I love the stunning texture . You did a phenomenal job weaving the threadz through the word art and attaching it to the hiking boots . Love the hiker walking over the top of the word art.

What a fascinating totem pole!! They would be so interesting to look at in person. Love the main photo blending and background. Your interweaving embellishments are amazing - loved the class. The hiking boots and hiker add a nice finish to the layout.

Thanks for your lovely comments. I really enjoyed Anna's class. My next step is to create a totally original title & practice interweaving more types of embellishments.
