It's the Little Things

I'm experimenting with some double pages with a journaling focus made from two 8x10 pages.

PSE process: Created a double blank page template. Blended 2 papers for background. Added my journaling of 65 little things. Added & re-sized frames from template album. Placed frames where I wanted then adjusted placement of journaling paragraphs around frames. Altered wordart cluster & multimedia leaves clusters. Embellished with labels, notions & threads. Again adjusted placement of journaling & re-coloured, re-sized & centered 3 little things from journaling. Added artsy details to background by adding stain stamps/brushes & clipping artsy kardz to add colour plus some white splatter. There was lots of rearranging & resizing before feeling the pages were done.

This is wonderful in so many ways...love to see you breaking out of the 12x12 box (I don't know why more people don't), that's a lot of things to type and arrange! Nice background, and great little clusters all around! (Watch your center margins if you are going to print!)

Thanks for your encouragement (and inspiration) Diane. There is a reason for so many 'little things' (65) which will come to light in future pages. I plan to do a test print on home printer before sending it off to Blurb.

This is just awesome, Kim! I agree with Diane, about more scrappers needing to try a portrait format. I love the journal style, the photos, and the font used, which is so right for a journal. Hope the printing goes well, at home and on Blurb. (I can envision a “movement” with this journal thing, and page size). You even have the center crease of a journal.

Thank you so much Beverly.
