The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Hi!! :D

It didn't fully register that today is Friday, 13th until I just typed it as the Subject line. Poot Tom, he is probably ging to be very busy today if his shop participates in the Friday 13th tattoo special. I think this is his first 13th at the new shop, but his old place participated and he was never happy about it.
(Some tattoo shops will run a special where you can get a flash tattoo for $13. Usually very small, simple and one you pick off a sheet. From what I hear, most tattoo artists aren't thrilled but if it brings new clients, they do it)

How was your day? The weather was absolutely lovely here and I didn't spend any time outside. I steam-cleaned the carpets and hoo-boy, they needed it. :vacuuming: That took 3 hours and I only did the LR and DR. So now we wait for one of the dogs to throw up on them :p Gary knocked over this full glass of water at dinner and all I could think was "what if?" If it were coffee, I woulda have to kill him. :knifehead: And no woman on a jury would convict me. And that would be for 2 reasons. 1. Coffee on *clean* carpet and 2.*coffee* on a clean carpet. hahahhaa!

Mouse is hanging in ok, the vet didn't notice any ear infection but put her on abx and we will see if it helps. :praying2: If not, then there isn't much that can be done for a pituitary tumor. There is a new medication that can slow the growth but I don't know who would even Rx/have it available. My niece (the one in vet medicine) told Cait about that the other day.

I am finally getting my hair cut and colored this morning. It's pretty darn awful right now. So happy I can wear a hat to work.

Gotta let the puppers out, BRB!!

It took me a little longer to get back here- Cait was getting coffee and I wanted to check in with her and see how the baby-girls were doing. The girls are good-- starting to get introduced to each other. I know she hopes to have all 5 of them in the big cage in a week or so. Mouse is as sweet as ever, taking her abx like a pro. ♥

it's so crazy we have reversed rolls and we keep an eye on them. Good luck. I hope they are better at keeping in touch with you so there is less stress.
Isn't it the strangest thing that I worry more about my parents driving than my kids? LOL
Caitlyn talked to my mom yesterday and reinforced keeping their phones on. My parents *might* listen to her more than me.
It sounds like you are having a wonderful time traveling. And eating!
Congrats on 54 years!!!! :heartpumppink:

Good news on the car! Ours cost less than $200, also! I'm a bit worried as Ilene's van that we girls usually take to PA is not feeling well and we might need to take my car! Mark said he wished he were going to be along if we take my car, just in case. I told him to come. He could hang with the great grandson. He said, Yeah! Right! :giggle4:
Good thoughts that whichever car you take is up to the task. Do you have AAA just in case? LOL-ing at Mark's "yeah right!"
You have always done well with the Persnickety sales!

I’m feeling a little less stressed today. Maybe not hearing any bad updates for the last 24 hours is helping. We biked this morning and got more peaches. You folks are going to be sick and tired of me going on and on about peaches, but it has been such a revelation to me since I moved into a town with a peach orchard that you can actually count on good peaches. And just how great a good peach is.
I am sooo glad you are feeling less stressed. It is hard when one thing piles on top of another. My BFF is going through that and she sent me a really long email just to vent. Even little things get the multiplier effect when there's just too much of it. So hang inthere and enjoy the fresh peaches!
I walked through the yard today and enjoyed all the summer flowers starting to bloom. Coneflowers, black eyed Susan, astilbe, southern magnolia, zinnia, coreopsis. The bees are very happy.
Yay!!! Nothing is blooming here other than some spotted dead nettle, but my true lilies are very close! Although I am most excited that I have milkweed popping up all over! I have been moving a lot of the smaller shoots around so they will fill in on the side of the yard where I have some wildflowers growing.
David is a retired biology professor, OF COURSE we have the tick saved. :rotfl:In a little specimen jar, with label and date. Back when we lived in NJ our doctor would give prophylactic antibiotics after a tick, but they won’t do that here. I assumed it was that medical practice had changed over the last decade but maybe it’s just different doctors. I’m pretty comfortable we can keep an eye on him and catch anything early.
BWUAHAHAHA!!!! You cannot take the scientist out of the person- at all. :lol23:
I know some doctors in different areas of the country don't even think they have ticks. As if ticks respect state lines. Pfft. Climate change is expanding areas of habitat north and south as well as just "normal" spread.

Oh Chris, why do parents do this to us? I'm so sorry about yesterday. hope today is better. Dont hide too long, we would miss you.
Thank you!! I can't be gone from here for too long, I'd miss everyone here too much as well
My lenses are both corrected for distance, with my left eye needing more correction than my right. That's been typical for decades. My right lens is "weighted" for reading, that is set at High and my left set at Low. But I am not sure if that is my best route anymore. When I am home, I need my cheaters for most desk work these days. At work it's a PITB to put them on and off all the time. Blergh.

Ugh, I was on gabapentin a long time ago but such a low dose it didn't affect me. But Gary gets knocked out, so I feel for you.

Just checked and the chairs are enroute should be here on Tuesday, June 17th!!
Had several players in my Challenge #5 since I last checked so had to get caught up on commenting on them. And trying to keep up when releases are in the shop so I can get them uploaded around digi-land. Feel like I am way behind on doing challenges but that is because there is several Birthday challenges in addition to regular monthly challenges. I had planned on making a new siggy but haven't got around to it... Maybe just wait until July to do one.
So exciting about the new chairs!
I am 100% with you on feeling way behind at the party. Between crazy timing here, my stress levels, and lack of mojo, I am having trouble getting anything done. Scrapping and IRL. heh.

So glad to read about the glasses/contacts/vision ideas and tips. I have food frot hougth when I see the new eye dr at the end of the month!

Yes, both Ilene and I have AAA. IT'S going to be my car that travels. We are taking 2 vehicles this year because one of Ilene's daughters is taking her grandson she's raising.

I always think about the stuff associated with Friday 13th but I'm not superstitious.
Glad Mouse is good about taking her abx. Is it pill form?
I giggled at the carpet fiasco. I don't have carpet to worry about but if anything is going to spill or puke, the only area rug I have that is in the living room is going to catch it! Murphy's Law! Ha!

Good morning,
Heading out to pick up my groceries in a few minutes. Plus I have to go inside because I forgot to order a few things for Mark since I will be gone all next week.
We are leaving a day early and traveling half way, hotel with breakfast, then finish the trip to our destination on Tuesday.
I got my laundry done yesterday. I'll do Mark's this weekend. But if I don't get around to it he has plenty of work clothes to take him through 2 weeks.
I want him to show me how to check the oil before we leave so I can keep an eye on it while we are on the trip next week.
Ok need to get dressed and ready to go.
HAGD

Good Morning O Fam!!!

I how you were all behaved yesterday when the sale went live. I wasn't. I went and looked and searched and drooled for over an hour. I clicked all my wish list items and of the 6 kits I bought, ONE was my wishlist the rest were new finds :giggle4: What's the point of a wishlist if I dont buy them when they're on sale? It was fun but now I have to be good. No more shopping. (fingers crossed behind the back)

Sunshine again!!! Its been amazing the last couple day. Boys even mowed the lawn last night. Well sorta. Mower was as high as it could do that the dandelions would bounce back and the strawberries wouldn't get hit but the tall grass is no longer. Today will be the big lawn area. It feels so nice to have the time to work outside and yet it feels crazy not to be helping more. Dogs are loving it and swimming in the lake.

Off to check out the last event for the birthday bash. Have a wonderful day!!!
