The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Hello, hellooOOO!
I am entering my 48 hours of non-stop-ed-ness.
*slugs down more coffee* :coffeedrinker:
I got this. Yup, yup.

I am so glad I went on the Forest Bathing hike. It was a perfect way to get my head together and feel really good about being in the woods again. The more I walked, the better I walked, if that makes sense. In fact, other than a little stiffness in my ankle, I was pain-free. Well, my legs and feet were pain-free. My shoulder and shoulder blade-- pfft. I slept funny last week and ever since then, the knot that I have between my right shoulder blade and spine is back. Being on the computer doesn't help. I put some Voltaren gel on it and have been using the TENS unit. They both help, but it still bothers me if I move wrong.
I am all set for the field trip today and I hope the kids have fun with it. The weather is amazing, a little cool and windy for my taste but once we are running around, everyone will warm up. I'll have to make sure that we have plenty of rocks to hold down the papers we'll be using so they don't blow away.

signing off with hugs and kisses to you! :blowkiss:

@scrap-genie Thanks again for the PBS bug show rec! Gary and I watched the one on Pollinators last night and man, bugs are fascinating. My only complaint was that I wish they had added the IDs to the screen for some of the different species. I was oooh-ing and ahhing over a lot of them. They showed a stunning b/w super-fluffy caterpillar that I would love to learn more about.
The part about the moths using ultrasounds as defence against bats-- incredible! Anyway --- I'm babbling on about bugs so I'll say TY again and stop. :D
HA! I'll meet you in AK! Wouldn't it be a great girls trip? @AK_Tracy when do you want us? ;)
Hahha! That would be so fun! It would have to be during the summer, though. I don't think I would last a day in AK winter.
That is a lot of driving back and forth to church but I am positive that it is very much appreciated. At times when it feels like there is not a lot of good in the world, it's things like people being good to each other that help. ♥
Good morning my O!
Feeling extra sarcastic and funny (to me) this morning so sorry if my comments read off. :floorlaugh: Just read it all through humor and we should be fine!
More than usual?? How can we tell?? :lol23:
No Giligans island for you! You made it home!!
Yeah, I wouldn't have lasted a day on Gilligan's Island, but I loved watching it as a kid. (drat, now the song is in my head!!!)
I was so excited to find that out. I've been using it non stop for 3 days now. Its really handy for recipes and adding the ° instead of *. Google degree hotkey and see what you find.
:giggle4: you sound like me with the heart hot-key♥ (Alt 3 on the number pad)

June and July! Y'all wont freeze to death then. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: It will be high 60's maybe 70°!!!! No ticks! But oh the mosquitos will carry you away if youre not careful. I have the beds so come on up! Caribou Uber might be easier to catch too! Give them a try!! :giggle4:
Are you kidding??? Have you seen the mosquitoes in NJ? Hahahahah! Common joke is the mosquito is the State Bird. Gotta love NJ humidity which make a perfect mucky enviromnt for them to breed.
OTOH, everything is big in AK so maybe I should be careful!

I'm off, need to get b-fast, pack my teaching stuff, and then take Gary to the eye dr. I should be back here just in time to go to the bathroom before I am off to work.

Hugs!

Good morning ladies. It’s going to be95 here in GA who wants some heat I will gladly share. Hopefully a boat ride in the Okenefokee swamp will be cooler. I hope we can do that in the next few days as the forecast is for near record heat.

@faerywings don’t ever stop telling us about your woodland adventures. I’d love to learn from you. I love to be outside too. This morning I Grabbed a coffee and a little walk to the lake at the campground. Merlin was telling me all the birds I was hearing, lake had some sea smoke so it was soooo peaceful.
Sorry to hear your shoulder is bothering you but glad the TENS is helping. We’ve been walking quite allot on this trip and my replacement hip is feeling better. So I’m sure some walking will get your flexibility back in you ankle little by little.

Ladies. Florida sprays for mosquitos and we still have so many we have to stay screened in. Whoever thought of them and no see ums really should be shot. LOL

Did you see the Mexican sailing vessel hitting the Brooklyn Bridge ? OMG so horrible RIP sailors. We went under that bridge many times with our boat it’s a massive structure and endured the hit well. Well built!

Good Morning

I am all set for the field trip today and I hope the kids have fun with it. The weather is amazing, a little cool and windy for my taste but once we are running around, everyone will warm up. I'll have to make sure that we have plenty of rocks to hold down the papers we'll be using so they don't blow away.
This sounds like a fun day. The kids will love hunting rocks to hold down their papers!!
Yeah, I wouldn't have lasted a day on Gilligan's Island, but I loved watching it as a kid. (drat, now the song is in my head!!!)
Bwahahaha my evil plot worked!!! Now you'll be humming it while at work. :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

I'll take ten degrees!!! its currently 44° and overcast. It just stopped raining but I expect it to start again too. I agree 100% too Noah should have squished the mosquitos on the ark!!

Not much happening today (or yesterday). Mostly just laundry and cleaning house. Coffee is calling my name. Have a wonderful day!

Good morning ladies. No mosquitoes yet but no-see-ums were out last week when my GF and I went on our birding trip. I only got a few bites but she got 5 big ones and her face was red and swollen for a few days. Temps are starting to warm up here so its nice to get outdoors and not too hot so I can bring Remi with me in the car when I run errands. We had our town-wide gargage sale on Saturday and myself, Jen and a GF all found some great deals. There were over 130 so we didn't get to them all but maybe around 30 or 40. We were out for about 5 hrs.

I've been busy getting designs created for the first artisan market in a few wks. I've got all my display pieces, we just need to spray paint a few of them. I want everything in off-white and wood tones except for the grey pillow boxes. I need to make the display tags so will get started on that later this week. Busy-busy LOL, as always! I'll post a pic of my table display when I get set up at the first one in June. So far I think I'm at about 150 pieces but need more.

I'm going on another birding tour this week and have a ladies luncheon so it'll be a fun filled week (aside from our usual game days).

@faerywings Have a great day with the kids. Your outings always sound so interesting.

@BoatLady That's too hot for me. My comfort zone is in the 70's/low 80's at the most. I have been seeing your pics and you are getting some beautiful shots with your new camera. Did you ever say what you got??? If so, I missed seeing it. What did you get? You have so much to photograph in your area and on your trips.

@AK_Tracy Rain here too but not much, a big day of rain here is about 5 mm. We mostly get the occasional drizzle/mist. Me too. I need coffee, one more cup and then I'll get on with my day. I enjoy a lazy morning!

Hope everyone has a great day. BFN

We made it through the weekend without the kitchen sink. Take out chicken, burgers, and one dinner out, lots of paper plates and disposable cups used. Plumber should be here in a few hours and life will be back to normal. Weather has been beautiful, which has helped.

My daughter's surgery went as expected, she came home that evening and is now benefiting from the oxycodone. I hope the pain is over soon. Now we just wait for the pathology report and hope for good news there.

I've been working on pages from our trip to the west coast to visit the grandkids. I'll try to post some. It's a bit fiddly as I have to take time to blur their faces, which I know is necessary but when you remove the expressions the pages aren't as interesting. I'm not doing so well on this month's challenges.

Social media has several posts of a black bear and two cubs meandering around the neighborhood. I was watching TV last night with the sliding door open for the breeze and heard a lot of rustling around the back yard. It was probably a possum, but all I could think is that I really wanted something more than a screen between me and a bear, so I closed the door.

I grew up in south Florida where trucks drove up and down the streets with clouds of DDT behind them. We would ride our bikes behind them, in and out of that fog, having just the best time. OMG - the stuff we didn't know back then. If I don't die of cancer it will be because good genes.

AMEN! We are just happy to be able to help!

Right? Like applying baby oil to your skin so you could "roast" to a nice brown color in the sun during the summer! Like no seat belts or baby seats holding all 4 kids in the back seat.....taking their turns laying in the back window! Oh Boy! We all survived! Thank the Lord!

Good Evening!
Had one of those sleepless nights, so didn't get up until 9. Got dressed and took the church deposit to the bank and then spent most of the day with Ilene. We went to Costco and then went to Olive Garden for lunch. I did not stay all afternoon with her, however.
Spent yesterday afternoon sorting through March photos for my Monthly Review I will be working on tonight.
Mark had a rough day at work so he took Piper down to the pit and is relaxing in the hammock!
That's about it for me!
Have a great evening!

@terri Yikes, that is scary. When the mosquito truck comes around at night I run around shutting all the sliders. They fly a helicopter during the day so it's time to go inside for a few hours all shut up, Funny how much we count on our conveniences or in the case of a sink....necessity. We have always remodeled kitchens in every home we owned so I learned to live like that or set up dishwashing station outside. It's always worth it. Glad your daughter is recovering, good luck to her.

@faerywings you are the dynamo!!! never stopping even when you are supposed to rest that foot.

@bcgal00 I got the CanonT6i I have so many canon lenses I just really wanted more pixels and wifi.

@AK_Tracy I would love to give you 10 degrees.

It was crazy hot today. I did a little walk and had to come back to A/C in the trailer. We went to the House of Rust---junk yard...good for a laugh and 10 minutes!!!! We ran a couple errands and went to lunch then I sat around to read. Tomorrow we are going on a boat tour of the Okefenokee swamp so that will be cool.
Good evening to all....time to read again.

Debby that sounds like a wonderful day (not the over hot) reading, relaxing, lunch, reading. I bet tomorrow will be amazing on the boat tour.
