Hello and good morning, lOvely ladies!

Guess what again?? Good news from the LLMD! At least, I think it is good news. My last Lyme test from 3 months ago was still positive. But after this last round of abx and no discernible flares/reactions, she feels that my immune system is doing what it needs to do. No more abx! dance4
I will see her again in three months and will get restested, check in with symptoms, and go from there.

The weather was wonderful again and I (slowly) cleaned out another (very) small section of the garden. Unfortunately, the area I was working in has so much poison ivy that I have to leave a lot of it overgrown.
Another bummer is that it is supposed to rain all day. I flipped my lessons this week and next week. I was going to teach Pollinators today and seeds/flower anatomy next week. It would be harder to teach pollinators while it is raining but we can do a flower dissection inside. It's my first day back at work without the boot too. So much good news!

I have to pick up groceries and prescriptions this morning, then finish up prep for work.
Have a wonderful day!

We had 5 1/2 inches of rain yesterday and last night so our set up will be soggy. We leave about noon for our summer trip. Spent all day yesterday in final prep. All I have to put in the trailer is the refrigerator and freezer foods. Last night a friend had a going away party so there were 10 of us eating, talking, laughing and loving each others friendship. I will miss them all but time to travel.
Safe trip ahead!! Have a wonderful time and I hope that you will be able to pop in from the road!! ♥
had a blast on my birding trip to photograph the grouse. Unfortunately no female showed up at the lek which would have gotten the males to really go crazy but it was still so much fun to see them motoring along like little helicopters and making their crazy sounds
That is amazing!! I hope your sciatica is better by now.
Today is beautiful. I went out this morning for a walk and then played an hour of pickleball but now I need to go to work. My weekend was soooo good! My sister and I went to Park City Utah - a lovely ski resort town on Saturday and spent the night and then we went to the Broadway show Wicked in Salt Lake for Mother's Day. The show was absolutely fantastic. Loving the start of my week so far. Hope you all have a great day.
Tiffany, that sounds amazing!!

Saturday was glorious and sunny and HOT. So glad I sat outside and enjoyed it. Sunday was beautiful but cool with the winds. Today is pouring rain. It will help knock down pollen and green things up. I wont mind being inside since its raining. Dinner just might get made today.
Hot for AK hot or hot for real? ;)
IKWYM, there are days in the summer that I am semi-relieved when it rains and forces me to clean inside instead of outside LOL!

As he was putting the umbrella back in the glass-top table he dropped it. Ka-bloom! A pile of little glass pieces on the deck, and no more table top.
Oh no!!!! Glad that you are getting a replacement.
I have to say, 1 snake at a time doesn't bother me, but to see a bunch of them together-- that would give me the heebee jeebees too. (that scene in Vikings- *full body shiver* If you have seen that show, you know the scene I am talking about!!)

Saturday's Bible study and my devotional went well. Came home and began prep for the company we were expecting for supper. They didn't leave until around 9:30. I started reading for my widows' devo for tomorrow until I could no longer hold my eyes open.

Sunday after church we came home and changed clothes and went to my daughter's house 20 minutes away and spent the afternoon with her and the family for Mother's Day celebration.
You must have been exhausted by the end of the weekend, but sounds ike a wonderful and love-filled few days!

Morning, all. The girls picked up some Mexican food take out for our Mother Day's supper. We were up until 11 PM last night talking..
You must be in heaven! How long are they staying with you?

xoxoxo!!!!

I had some great news yesterday. I will start working again on Thursday! Only odd days here and there, but I'm back in the game! I went to the library yesterday, after the mammogram, mainly to wait for Urban to finish and go with him home, instead of taking the bus. Talked to the boss, and got my own keys. It feels real now.

On Friday we're having some kind of "staff breakfast". We're going to a bakery/café in a small village to have breakfast and just have some time together. It will be so awesome to have work mates again, and a sense of belonging again.

Otherwise, this is the most important week of the year: The Eurovision Song Contest Week! It's my favorite time of the year. First semifinal is tonight, second semifinal is on Thursday, and the final is on Saturday. If you don't know what ESC is, it's a music competition where every country send a singer/band to perform at a huge live event. Then all viewers can vote, and there's a jury of experts, and hopefully the best song wins.

I hope Sweden wins this year! Mostly because I love the song, and the guys singing has such a genuine love for what they are doing. But also, if we win, it will be the 8th time Sweden wins, which will mean we're The Best. Right now, Ireland and Sweden has both won 7 times, and are in joint lead.

Can you tell I'm O B S E S S E D with ESC?!

Had a nice surprise yesterday evening... DD#3's son and 4 year old grandson came over to have supper with us. We had a pizza party with them and the DDs. Shortly after they left, we called it an early night as the girls were worn out. Woke up early this morning. Girls are still sleeping. Will be another busy day for them at (DD#1's) son's house. DD#3 will be heading home this afternoon. Will miss having her here in the evenings. DD#1 will be heading home on Friday as her granddaughter will be graduating from middle school to high school this weekend and she wants to be there for that event.

Well, summer arrived with a bang yesterday... it got up to 92*F in the shade on the patio!!! Going to be almost that hot again today... so it is time to take the down comforter off my bed!!! And I will rotating the mattress when I change the sheets.

@faerywings Such good news from the LLDoc!!! Been great news on both fronts... out of the boot and LL news!!! Sorry that so much poison ivy has grown in the backyard. You are wise to let it be.

@tanteva Glad to hear you are back to work at the library... even if it is only part-time!

@Terri M YIKES... sorry that the patio table top broke.... I am always leery when I move the umbrella on my glass top patio table for that reason. Glad you have a new table set coming soon.

Time to get the girls up. Will be back later to do a bit of scrapping. HAGD

We had planned to go to a baseball game this afternoon, but as forecast gives 100% chance of rain for hours plus a flood watch, I’m going to bet that’s not happening. Instead, I will cook this beef brisket I found at Costco a couple days ago —not huge —as it’s probably not much longer we’ll be wanting the oven on for 3 or 4 hours.

I was just thinking a few days ago, time to take the electric blanket off the bed. But then I used it last night as it was chilly and damp. But I think it really is time for it to go.

Crossing my fingers for you! I guess because of trail work I know so many people with tick-caused illness. There’s just no way to catch those little beasts all the time

That sounds like fun!

Good morning ladies. I'm off to cards this afternoon and will create jewelry this morning. I'm booked into 6 craft fairs now this year so maybe 1-2 more Xmas ones and then I'll take a break until next spring. It's been a fantastic creative outlet. I think I needed to step back a bit from scrapping after all these years and I think when things settle down in the fall/winter I'll come back to it with renewed vigor. I'm still scrapping a bit but not much right now. No time.

@faerywings That's awesome news about the ABX. Glad your health has improved.

I'm getting dressed and out for a walk with Remi, she is sitting beside me softly whining.

Morning ladies... I am not feeling very well so will make this very quick. I am suffering terribly with allergies this spring, funny because its only been the past couple of years that the pollen or whatever has really bothered me. I am not sure if I will be able to hike tomorrow, but will see how I feel tomorrow. My son in law Jonah recommended a natural supplement that has helped him with his allergies, so I have started taking that today. Hope it works!! I got my Covid shot yesterday too, so that might be part of the reason I am feeling like CRAP!! My arm is not sore thankfully, but I do feel out of sorts today! I hope to feel much better tomorrow, but not sure I will be up to the very difficult hike tomorrow. I just wanted to pop in to say :wavinghello: and hope that you all have a wonderful day!

I'm glad to have today's devotional done with too. I have all summer to prepare for the fall and winter devotionals for the widows' meetings which will begin again in October.

I hope you feel better soon, Trudy!

Good afternoon,
The widows' meeting went well today. Last meeting until October. The newest widow is from our church and she really enjoyed the meeting. We had to take Ilene's van for the 5 of us.

It was raining when we left this morning and when we got back but now the sun is shining and is pretty warm and humid out!

Now that I have the summer to work on my devos for the fall, I think I will catch up on some scrapping work, especially the monthly reviews. And I'm way behind on the daily ATCs!

Have a good evening!
