Microsoft or Apple?

I hate Mac with a passion. Impossible to work with & only trouble.

That's so funny. Cheryl was here with her PC laptop and I could not do a damn thing on it. I hated it!!! (Sorry Cheryl - LOL!!!)

I've never had anything to do with Apple or Mac, so can't compare but I am happy with Windows and use programs that only run under it. And my phone is Android! Have never understood why folks bad mouth Windows in general though they do make mistakes like in Win 11.

Thank you for your thoughts. I've only ever had Windows myself, but Windows 11 has made me wonder about switching. I can't imagine what the next Windows upgrade might be like.

I think the badmouthing windows is part the owner that is disliked and part is the bad experiences with windows. I use to like windows but then when it went sideways, it went way sideways and I was having to reinstall drivers every day to watch shows or print and so I pitched it all and went MacBook and never looked back. Having an iPhone I think made some of the learning curve easier but the helps I found on apples site were amazing. My son on the other hand will NEVER have anything to do with apple and he's strongly adverse and he's never even tried apple. He just goes off what he's read and heard. I think once we find our "love" in the computer world, were just strongly opinionated LOL Hubs loves his windows. I love my Mac.

Feel free to DM me with any specific questions - or ask them here if others are interested I switched to Mac close to 20 years ago but remember being pleasantly surprised at how easy the transition was. I’d never go back. I’ve made a note to reply here again with a couple of things to keep in mind, but my internet connection is too unreliable to do that now.

So hope you're enjoying your trip, Vicki. Looking forward to your tips, but no hurry. Just had to buy a new printer, plus other unexpected expenses, so I won't be switching right away.
