when I was asked to be a guest in anna’s creative team I hesitated, because I am a scrapbook beginner, but I love challenges (no risk no fun), so I said yes.
I live in Switzerland and here scrapbooking is not well-known. I came to scrapbooking like Columbus to America. I was looking for a ninja cake idea (for my son’s birthday) and finally ended in various digital scrapbook stores.
It was like an odyssey landing here in this forum/gallery. I feel very good here, highly inspired by so many different, advanced and professional scrapbookers and profit technically and artistically from you all. thank you so very much for that.
some words about me:
I (father swiss, mother dutch, born in Australia) am married with my husband (father norwegian, mother austrian), our families are spread throughout Europe. we have a nine year old boy who is keeping us very busy with his ideas and projects.
I’m interested in literature, music, art, design, movies, policy, philosophy and sport. I like good food&wine and to cook (in this I am pretty good) and since about 1 ½ year scrapbooking. I am self-employed with a consulting company. I regularly make gymnastic (a special mixture of modern dance, yoga and stretching), in winter skiing.

verena is my christian name and outside switzerland almost unknown and often written uncorrectly. so I chose nia, that's shorter and simpler.

she was born and brought up in utrecht. once a year my sister and I travel to holland, mostly utrecht, to attend our cousins meeting.
