It's been awhile since I've started the Daily O's. And I'm even doing it without coffee!

Waiting for the kids to get up so that we can get the car packed and get on our way home. It's been a great vacation but, as always, anxious to get back to my own home.

I'll be back later with some personals.

Safe travels, Linda! Gald you enjoyed your time at the lake!

More cleaning for me today which has lead to moving some wall decor from one room to another which has lead to some painting............you get the idea! I'll be thinking about scrapbook pages while I'm painting though!

Off to the gallery to check out the creativity.

it's weekend AGAIN WHICH MEANS CHANGEOVERS - which means lots of washing and ironing . 12 people this time ..eeek

Eldest son. d.i.l. and granddaughter Jennifer are leaving tonight , it will be so quiet without them ...sniff

good luck with the painting Donna . one day we'll get round to it too.
Linda have a good trip back home.

Morning my O fam- sitting in the hotel, trying to get up the energy to get ready for the day. It will be hot and humid and a family reunion of not too many people to attend. Most of us are older and my older sister is still planning on us all playing games. We shall see. Best part of the time away so far- ate one of our favorite restaurants- sadly 7 hours from where we now live. Plus we have left overs so we have amazing dinner tonight!!

Ellen! 12 people!! eeee!!! sounds lile a LOT of work. good luck with that!

Linda, have a safe trip home. it's always nice to get back to "home turf." except the first few days back home always seem hard, for some reason! i'm always surprised that the place is exactly like i left it. dunno what i think should have happened in my absence. The Housecleaning Fairy paying a visit??

Donna, don't you hate when that "one thing leads to another" thing happens!? after we had insulation put in our walls last year, i went around with my paint and paintbrush, hoping to just paint over the holes that were drilled and patched. HAA! the paint no longer matched, so i ended up repainting 3 entire rooms! :mad2:

Laurie, good luck with the games.... hope the reunion is fun, otherwise!

so far today i made some almond flour apricot crumble so i can have something low carb for breakfast that i don't need to cook or think about. did my roundandround walking, and now doing some laundry. what an exciting life i lead....:bored:

have a Super Saturday!

WTG, Linda starting without coffee!

You all seem busy to me - yep, even you, Phylis

I'm on my first coffee and intend to scrap and scrap and scrap - (I hope!)

Ona, has the new Creative Techniques challenge up - all about "texture" and there are delicious new kits in the shoppe - so I'm excited!

DH is making corned beef, cabbage and new potatoes - my favourite.
I may complain about him at times but I am blessed to have him.
(I sometimes forget I may have a few faults too - )

Have a great weekend everyone - and for all who are traveling safe journeys.

quick hello...movie last night went great...helena loved it!!! 11 days til school starts

Morning girls.............

Donna...LOVE THE NEW AVI!!!

yesterday was HOT and sweaty....I went with Sharon to Cameran's soccer practice and Savannah and I went to play....Mommy brought her three outfits...so we took a lot of photos...although...me still trying to learn the "beast"...I overexposed most of them :mad2: I was so mad!!! But let me tell you.............it made me come home and do something that I wanted to do for a long time...I have a folder on my faves bar called "WISHLIST" and in that little folder was this: http://simplybphotos.com/2012/02/day-with-amy-photography-workbook/

I am not sure where I ran across this at, but I saved it and have looked at it for the longest time and kept saying it was TOO MUCH.....but you know what...I paid a lot of money for my camera and lenses...and now over 2 years later (from buying my camera), I really want to do the BEST I can do with it!!! I don't want to spend and hour and half taking photos and most of them are CRAP!! So....I bit the bullet and bought it...I read and read and read last night and boy oh boy I DO NOT REGRET IT AT ALL!!! This book is written for the DSLR FOR DUMMIES ...HAHA!! This girl knows that we don't all understand the "techinal terms" and such...so she explains things very well...and now.........................I am dying to try out her tips and lessons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Facebook friends....LOOK OUT...MANY MORE PHOTOS ARE COMING SOON :becky:

Morning All!

Thanks, Nana! Thought it was time for a 'MakeOver!'

Good to know about the camera book! Good luck and ENJOY learning the process of the cool photos you want to take. I'm having the same thoughts and meeting up this week with a friend who is a wonderful photographer and hope to begin down the road to know more about my camera. It's been a goal for awhile and I'm hoping some one on one 'photography for dummies' will help me.

Today I need to catch up on yesterday's To Do list. I sat down too many times with ideas for this month's O challenges. I've always had great intentions to participate and then time just gets away. What great inspirations those challenges are! I've completed 3 of them so best get them uploaded! Today I will get some things done around the house..........mmmm, wonder what I could do for a favorite color page............

Have a great Sunday all!

the Big Green Blob of rain has arrived here. GOOD! just what we need. at first they were talking about a severe weather event, but i just looked at the radar. looks pretty tame to me, and it looks like an all-day event. looks like a good scrapping day. too bad i don't have a single idea in my head!!!!! :mmph:

made and froze some more pesto this morning. AAAAAANNNNNND!!!! i noticed while i was doing my roundandround walking before the rain that i actually have THREE zucchini growing! the count is now up to 5....from 15 plants.... gonna make some fried zucchini with sour cream/horseradish dipping sauce as a side for dinner. that would be enough for me, but hubby likes a meaty main course.

i feel like i need to get out of town. i didn't get to go on the beach vacation because of the cat, so i'm looking forward to my 3 days away in Bedford, PA at my fave Bed and Breakfast. for the last 2 years i've taken my self to this little place in the PA "mountains," just to be someplace different that doesn't take 10 hours of driving to get there. and so someone can make me a good breakfast. when i'm there, i walk around the little town which, strangely, is pretty FLAT, considering it's surrounded by the giant green lumps we call mountains in PA. last year i did some wine tasting of a local vinyard's wine (not bad, but TOTALLY PA wine, which means that it usually borders on being a cross between sherry and Manischewitz ,) and bought Hubby a lot of homemade candy at the local shop.

whoops. thunder and lightning. better shut down the computer. have a restful Sunday!

The thing about having all kinds of kids around you, besides :fencing: and :frusty: and :eek2: and :juggle: and :yell: ...well you get that picture....IS you never lack for ideas on scrapping :becky:

Sweden finally got a gold medal in the Olympics today :whoo: :whoo:
Ok ... it was some kind of sailing thingy ... not even a proper sport ... but it sure is a proper gold medal. LOL

I'm back among the living after having a cold for a week. Feeling FINE today.

Act your age ... it's an expression I've heard. Well, I've been thinking of subscriping to a newspaper/magazine that mom has for a while. Cuz it's lots of interesting articles. Well ... went to the web site today. They had a nice offer to try it for 5 weeks. Only thing ... they describe themselves as a magazine for senior citizens. Does this mean I can start collect my pension money??? LOL

HA! Eva. just wait until you actually ARE a Senior Citizen, and see what THAT makes you feel like! i wake up every morning and thing: i'm DOOMED!! glad you've recovered from you cold.

Kristy, is you rooster a little guy? they really know how to crank out the crowing when they're grown, eh?

Nana, send me over some of your Crumb Cruncher Cuties. i need some ideas!!
