Okay, I'll ask it...............because I don't see it posted. LOL Are you watching/going to a Super Bowl party/taking snacks (if you're going to a party)?

Let me whisper in your ear..................I really didn't even know who was playing until yesterday. :floorlaugh: :lol23::lol23:goofysmile1:coffeescreen:

Yes I watch every year. Especially if my beloved Chiefs are in the game! We are watching quietly at home this year. No big party or tons of food. We have subs that our church youth groups makes every year as a fundraiser and I'll be making some chili to go with it.

That sounds like a perfect party, deej. And subs and chili - YUMMMMM. Have fun!

No Superbowl parties for me but this year I am all in on the Chiefs. One, I went to BYU and so did Andy Reid. Two, I cannot stand the Eagles.

I love football. I just wish Jerry Jones would get out of the way so that my beloved Cowboys could return to the Superbowl. Then I would really be excited.

No matter how many times people have tried to explain football to me I just can never fully GET it and remember the rules :rotfl::couchhide:

YAY for the Cowboys!! I can fully stand behind your beloved team...I grew up with my Nana and Popa in Texas jumping up off of the couch and cheering for them when I was growing up :lovey3:

Well, we sat in front of the TV with the Super Bowl "noise" on in the background. DH does not like the KC Chiefs, so I'm sure he was rooting for PA Eagles! I was working crossword puzzles and not paying much attention other than knowing the Chiefs were getting a good whooping! LOL! DH wasn't paying much attention, either, as he was downloading music to his phone the whole time! No special snacks other than the usual bedtime snacking.

I know thost are wonderful memories, Jenn. Last night, my GD had on a Detroit Lions shirt and her fiance had on a Dallas shirt. LOL I watched the first half, then went home to watch the half time show (which was a bust in my opinion). I understand football, I just don't like it!

Sounds like the perfect evening, Vicky. As soon as halftime was over, I turned the channel. I'd had enough of "the noise". :giggle4::giggle4:

living in kc suburbs there is NO way not to know that the super bowl was yesterday even if you are not a fan. I didnt watch it but hubby did.

We turned the volume off during the halftime show.....couldn't understand it anyway :giggle4: :giggle4:
It wasn't worth watching (IMHO) but I'm kind of over that kind of music. There was only one song that i kind of reconized, but other than that, I didn't see much that impressed me. Some of it reminded me of the beginning of Michael Jackson's career when he did some mind-altering things.

We went to the club for a party...some people watched and the rest of us drank wine and talked. The organizer had games and fun stuff so it was enjoyable. Pot luck so lots of different food. I could care less about the game. One of the contests was to guess how many times Taylor Swift was showed...funny stuff...yelling and counting.
I understand the half time show was not good...didn't see it cause we were playing football bingo which was fun.
Glad that is over...now Valentines Dance Party is on Friday. We have never ending fun.

No worries. I was just really confused. lol
I misread your post - skipped right over "NOT". I told you guys I didn't even know who was playing - believe it. I got a little bit through osmosis - watching the first half with the die hards. Still don't really know either team. Now, if the Detroit Lions had been playing, I would remember.:floorlaugh::giggle4:

I so wanted the Lions to be in the Superbowl this year.

Me too. They were my hubby's favorite football team. He would have been so proud of them this year for making it as far as they did. He loved the Lions through the good and bad. He definitely was not a "fair weather fan".
