Quick music question for all of you fun people!!!

cellomom

...loves her some "O"
Okay, so my band is playing a charity spaghetti dinner gig and we need to do some covers....

here's the question...

what songs would you like to hear from a cover band at a charity spaghetti gig??? just curious!!!! (and btw, I have to know in the next two hours as we have our rehearsal then!! LOL!!)

...uhhhmmmm okay Sally....don't you know us old people have to think about things for a couple of hours!! LOL!!!

I am so stinking bad with song names!!!

Do you guys sing all types of music??

I will think about it and get back to ya in a few minutes:p

Gah!!! You are killing my brain cells making me think fast!!

just whatever genre you'd like to hear...I'm curious

we normally play original Christian worship-type, contemporary Christian pop stuff, but these guys are really talented and i can hold my own with a mic. So we could play any genre as long as we had a good chord chart! :) (and I've heard the song before...have to put that in there!!)

What type of charity event Sally? If it's for Cancer or something along those lines...steer clear of emotional music.

Is it a Pop crowd? Country Crowd?

it's for the Exchange Club of SugarLand...they do a lot of good community service throughout the year!

I don't think emotional is an issue here...but we do want to keep it a bit upbeat...

we are in Texas, so country is okay, although our drummer hates country!! LOL!! we tease him all the time. We will be doing Trace Adkins' Muddy Waters, since Mr Gorgeous sounds awesome on it!! :)

Lastyear the band that played did a bunch of Beatles and they were a hit, so...I think anything really goes...I just wondered what others would want to listen to! It's interesting to hear what people like musically! :)

(I can sing a mean George Michael, too...just ask Chris, Vicki and Wendy!! LOL!!)
bwahahahahahahahah!!!
