Posing for photos...

As a scrapper and a memory keeper, I realized that I need more photos of myself - I refuse to make 'mom was there too' pages for our family albums. And with that came the issue of posing - I rarely like the way I look on photos. While some of it is due to poor photography skills of those taking the said photos, me standing stupidly and looking awkwardly doesn't help either.

Which made me wonder how others feel about posing for photos... Do you have photos of yourself? Do you have photos of yourself interacting with others? Something to remember you by once you are gone? I am not trying to be morbid here, but I know I want my kids to look back at their life and feel that their mom is not missing from the picture. I am still learning here - for every photo of me there are about ten of everyone else, but it's a good start...

I think just about every scrapper has this problem....."mom was taking the picture". And, like you, the pictures are about 1/10 that include me. Most of the selfies I take are of me and DH or me and BFFs. At our family gatherings I do try to get at least one pose of the whole family, including me, using the timer on my real camera. I have posed and captured myself using the timer doing different things. I love the page you did for the pre-release of Vicki's Artful Memories Today. The one with several shots of you and the extracted pose of your jubilation!
