Welcome to Day 9 of the 30 Days Challenge. Today I am grateful to be living in the southern part of the USA. My daughter, who lives in the NE area of Ohio has a weather forecast of a winter storm watch! YIKES! Ready or not.......here it comes! Winter is just around the corner!
Thanks for stopping by! And welcome to a little bit of history of my digiscrapping. I really do hope that I have given you some inspirations for your own 30 days project to tackle at a later date! You can check out the first 4 days for inspiration for building your own project.
To continue my story from yesterday, after I bought PSE 5 back in 2005, it was full steam ahead! Eventually I ended up joining some designer CTs and continued to learn lots about my PSE program. Eventually I broke down and upgraded to PSE 6, which was not a whole lot different than PSE 5. You still had to buy the program on CD back then, maybe 2008. After moving to NC in 2008 from WV, I started dabbling with making my own digital items and gave them away on my blog, "Today's Scrap by Vicky Day (Whittemore, now)". And then I took the dive into becoming a "designer". I joined a site called "Faith Girls". I was there for just a short time when the site closed down. I think I was still on a couple of CTs at that point, too. When Faith Girls closed down, I joined the "Digital Scrapbooking" site and joined the store CT. I did that for a couple of years before I joined the designer team. I never did much as a designer, but I had fun. Eventually, it became more of a chore than a hobby, and my husband got sick with melanoma so I quit designing and even quit digiscrapping for awhile. I really didn't pick it back up until several years after my husband died. That is when I found OScraps. I knew Ona from some of the previous sites and was thrilled when she asked me to join the team! And I haven't looked back! Thanks, Ona, @wombat146 for the chance to join an amazing team and work with amazing designers!
Here is my Days 7-9, left side of the spread. I will begin the right side tomorrow.
