Good Morning and welcome to Day 19 of the 30 Days Challenge. As per yesterday's "preview" thread, I did something totally different today. Besides looking ahead to what I wanted to do for 3 days at least, I also did not use my own photo/s. I wanted photos to depict my theme verse for the day about the changing seasons. So I went to Pixabay and found exactly what I needed! With a little bit of tweaking, I was able to get a good representation of the changing seasons on one tree.
The process I used was to:
Anyway, I hope that gave you a bit of inspiration! Here is my page for today:
Remember to follow the rules below if and when you do start your project with me, or whenever! I would LOVE to see it! If you are visiting this thread for the first time today, be sure and check out the first few days for some ideas for a possible 30 days project for yourself! Really, you could probably find some inspiration in all 30 days! That is my hope, anyway!

Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.
The process I used was to:
- download all 4 free images and stack them on top of one another.
- Then I reduced the opacity of the top tree to 50%.
- That allowed me to stretch the tree behind the top photo to match as close as possible.
- When I got them matched as best as I could, I hid the second image and moved on to the third image and then the 4th image.
- When I was done, I returned the opacity of the top photo to 100%.
- Next I selected all 4 images together and moved them into position over my photo mask.
- The mask is approximately 4" wide, so each tree needed to be about 1" wide.
- Next, using the Rectangular Marquee Tool, I made it big enough to delete most of the tree, leaving approximately 1" to show.
- You need to begin with the top photo and delete the left portion of each photo,
- select the next photo from the layers panel,
- move the Marquee over an inch and delete,
- select the next photo from the layers panel,
- move the Marquee over an inch and delete.
- No need to delete anything from the 4th (bottom layer in the layers panel) as you will now clip that photo to your mask.
- Move up to the next tree layer and clip it to the mask until you have all 4 layers clipped to the mask.
Anyway, I hope that gave you a bit of inspiration! Here is my page for today:
