New from Iowa

Hey everyone!! I'm so excited to be joining the community. I've been creeping around for the last 4 or so months, but decided to finally join and post something =) I absolutely love this place! Everyone is so supportive of one another. I hope to be seeing a lot more from everyone in the future!

Umm anyway, I'm 19 and am a Sophomore at the University of Northern Iowa. I love it here! I'm studying to become an Elementary School teacher and work at the daycare on campus. I absolutely love my kids and my job. I couldn't ask for a better place to live!

Hey there Angela- glad to have you here.
Many years ago (ugh) I graduated with Elem Ed and Psych degrees. I taught Pre K for a long time, before I became a SAHM/WAHM.
Good for you- good teachers and ones who love what they do are hard to come by.

Hi Angela! Welcome to the O! I'm from Iowa as well. I live near Des Moines. I was an elementary ed major many, many years ago. I have two cousins at UNI and a niece at U of I. What a great time for you to pick up digi-scrapping.
